Anticorruption programme and right of access to information
HŽ Cargo is aware that corruption poses a serious problem and therefore fully supports the anti-corruption policy of the Croatian government and its efforts to eradicate corruption from our society. Our employees adhere to the principles of the Code of Ethics in their business and daily activities. Furthermore, we place great importance on the right of access to information, which is a fundamental human right, protected among other things by the Constitution of the Republic of Croatia and the European Convention on Human Rights and Freedoms.
RIGHT OF ACCESS TO INFORMATION
The right of access to information is regulated by the Act on the Right of Access to Information (Official Gazette 25/13, 85/15, and 69/22) and is guaranteed to all natural and legal persons who request access to information, regardless of the purpose for which the information is to be used. The law defines the principles of the right of access, exceptions to the right of access, and the procedure for exercising and protecting the right to access information. The right of access to information is exercised by submitting a written request.
